Sexual Assault Decision Expected at Skidmore College

WNYC News

The issue of campus sexual violence has reached Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs. During the next week, the school administration is expected to decide whether a male student who was found to have violated the school's sexual misconduct policy will be allowed to re-enroll. He was suspended for a year amid accusations he raped a female student.

Jacob Reiskin, editor-in-chief of the campus newspaper, Skidmore News, said students are calling for the male student to be suspended — but the school's policy doesn't require it.
