I was thirteen years old when I was raped and sodomized by a prominent New York City Physician at a renowned medical institution. I lost my puberty and adolescence to a predator that was trusted by his profession to heal and not harm. At age fourteen I started psychiatric care for my depression, anxiety and hatred for everything in my life. I thought there would be no end to this cycle of hurt.
